How close are we to understanding consciousness?
How close are we to understanding consciousness? What is standing in our way of understanding what makes us aware of ourselves and the world?
I will define consciousness as the wave connection that characterizes everything in the universe. I would go so far as to describe consciousness as a resonance field.
Matter - be these solid, liquid or gas - is also a wave phenomenon because it is comprised of nothing but magnetism.
The human being is structurally a miniature mirror image of the universe. The human being is self similar to the universe at every level. Structural self similarity connects every atom - which is a wave phenomenon - with our consciousness.
The human being is the micro cosmic image of the macro cosmos or the universe out there.
Let’s talk about levels of consciousness.
At this juncture, it is useful, even poignant, to talk about the ego or the part of consciousness which is associated with I-ness as in contrast to you-ness. The ego is consciousness which identifies itself with the Self.
As I understand it, there exist at least two levels of consciousness if not more. When the subject and the object identify with each other, they become one.
At this juncture, Iet me briefly broach the idea of sphericity which has been well expounded by many people: the circle is perfect. More than that, the circle engenders certain useful properties such as the right angled triangle, and hence brings forth duality (the two arms BC and BA). The length AOC - the diameter - of the circle is fixed. Please see below.
From this simple idea, we get the Pythagorean tree. Please see below. The Pythagorean tree is a fractal. Source: Pythagoras Tree -- from Wolfram MathWorld
At the higher level, consciousness discerns and grasps principles. I define principles as expressions describing the immutable nature of reality. I’ll cut into the flab to go right into the meat: Life is Number: the Universe is Music: https://ba278b9d8106536501a2-57da1f3fe93ccf3a9828e6ce67c3d52c.ssl.cf5.rackcdn.com/ws_01_autelitano.pdf
Can one discern the cosmic blueprint from its manifestation? The answer is yes we can.
Immutability in the universe is expressed as fractals. There exist a relationship between fractal geometry and energy. Fractal geometry is associated with spirit while physicality is associated with energy.
Spirit is characterized by dilation or expansiveness. Unity expresses expansion in optimizing surface function: “..a small volume interfaces with a surrounding space over a large surface area. It is exemplified by the fractal nature of tree leaves and roots, as well as the network of blood vessels and capillaries in our bodies.”
The physics of the universe is expressed by matter: Matter is characterized by pressure. The realm of manifestation expresses constriction: “..in the classical situations, was the idea that many phenomena in nature are well described by say a ball or soap bubble. Many phenomena tend to surround the largest possible volume with the smallest possible surface because you’re trying to minimize some surface tension and this brings you ideally to the formation of a sphere, a ball.“
There is a connection between geometry and matter. A black hole is a vortex in the fabric of space-time. It is therefore a geometrical phenomenon that expresses itself as gravitational force, which is a physical phenomenon. A black hole is a two dimensional phenomenon which affects matter which is three dimensional. Matter comprises only about 4 percent of the entire universe. Our focus should be on the remaining 96 percent of the universe, which is spirit. When matter falls into a black hole, it undergoes a dimensional change from three dimensions into two dimensions. Matter returns to its primordial character when it falls into a black hole. Matter “gives up” its illusory (mass and time) dimensions when it falls into a black hole but retains or returns to its immutable spatial characteristic.
Space is characterized by fixed parameters that measure length.
“The relation between the two sides of a right triangle is a mysterious thing that has to do with what in mathematics is called duality.”
Consciousness tethers all phenomena. Consciousness precedes existence, and not the other way around.
Unity-duality relationship is expressed in the Pythagorean Theorem.
Consciousness embeds itself lovingly in the realm of nature subtly as prime numbers of Fibonacci spirals. See below.
