The science of smoke rings - under conformal mapping from the ring torus, to a horn torus, to a spindle torus, and finally to a sphere (earth) - plus harmonic motion - willingness of universal motion - is instructive in connecting the dots regarding the early stages of the universe, which, to be sure, is a geometrical phenomenon.
